INTRODUCTION BEGINNER PROGRAM

Introduction Beginner Program

As we all know one of the major goals when owning a gym as a business is to get new members into the door as often as possible.  Then, once you get them in the door you want them to be comfortable in the gym environment you create and never leave.  

The key to this is a correct on-ramping process for your new members, so they are prepared for the physical endeavors they will be encountering during your gyms training.  I believe this process is often overlooked or skipped by many gyms and it turns into a big negative in the long run, due to all new members either injuring themselves or feeling uncomfortable due to the lack of confidence they have in their abilities.

The three different foundation courses I have to put together below, will provide you with the major movement patterns you should teach all your members and provides coaching cues for each of them.  This will allow any coach at your gym to lead them through the program with confidence.

The major problem with group fitness is the lack of individual attention each member gets, this issue becomes a much smaller problem if the new memebers are prepared for class adequately.
